HOW TO
USE COTTON COMPRESSED FACIAL MASK
(Information,
tips and use of herbs and plants)
Compressed cotton facial masks are made of cotton spunlace which
provides hidrophilisity and helps the essence penetrate the skin. The mask is soft,
with strong aqua absorbency, completely clears away oil, cosmetic residue, cuttings,
dead cells from the skin.
The advantages of this mask are that you can apply a variety
of herbal teas and essential oils at your choice, you can replace the use of
cotton pads as face mask, because of the small size you can carry it everywhere
(when traveling), and you can use it easily (just make herbal tea put the mask
in it and apply it to the face).
When using this type of mask is important to remember two
things:
1.
Always apply it to clean face.
2.
Never leave it for too long (10-15 minutes is enough).
How to use it:
Soak the mask in liquid (of your choice). Apply it to the face.
Remove it and wash your face with water.
Here are some great combinations:
Ø A small
piece of cucumber and 2 teaspoons of mint tea. Blend the cucumber (or grin
it) and then add the mint tea. Soak the mask in the mixture and apply it to the
face.
Excellent for sensitive skin and skin blemishes
problems.
Ø 1 teaspoon
of turmeric and 2 teaspoons of
natural yogurt. Stir the ingredients together.
Soak the mask in the mixture and apply it to the face.
Great when dealing with swelling and dark circles around the eyes.
Ø 1 spoon
of avocado oil, 1 spoon of yogurt, ½ spoon of rosemary (powdered). Mix the avocado oil and rosemary together,
strain the mixture and then add the yogurt. Soak the mask in the mixture and
apply it to the face.
Great for moisturizing, cleansing and
revitalizing the skin.
Ø 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil, 2 teaspoons lavender
tea and 2 teaspoons of green tea.
Good against acne, scaring and disinfecting.
These combinations are just suggestions; you can always
experiment and add ingredients of your choice.
Caution:
If you have cotton allergies don’t use this mask. You can replace the cotton
mask with rice paper.
