NATURE`S STING
(The healing properties of nettle)

Urtica dioica, often called common nettle, stinging nettle or nettle leaf, is an herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the family Urticaceae. It is native to Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and North America, and introduced elsewhere.
This plant has a long history of use that dates back to Ancient Greece.

Today nettle is used in medicine, cosmetics, cooking, and as folk medicine.  Nettle is rich with calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, silicium, carotene, protein, carbohydrates, pantothenic acid, chlorophyll, enzymes, vitamin C, B2, K, and D.

Nettle has many beneficial properties for the human body. You can use the leaves, root and seeds.

Here are some of the benefits of nettle:
1.     Blood purification from toxins.
2.   Prevents hair loss (rinsing your hair with nettle tea is also good for oily hair and scalp).
3.   Prevents insomnia and anxiety.
4.   Beneficial for those looking to avoid seasonal allergies.
5.    Cleans the stomach, kidneys and intestine (good for stomach cramps).
